Did you just say Portal in LEGO Dimensions?

Speaking of crazy, I know you like tablet games, so I think you should check out Galaga: Tekken 20th Anniversary Edition!  It's free, so what have you got to lose? :)

I enjoyed the movie but I don't think it was better than the first, just more of the same.  But the first was a fun action flick so that made this one fun, too.  Although if you showed me a clip from the first movie and a clip from the second, I probably couldn't tell you which one each clip was from.  Kind of like the Lord of the Rings movies.

I don't know who is in charge of the Avengers, whether it be Captain America or Eye Patch Man, but they need to make a new rule.  They need to require all new recruits to the Avengers to wear name tags that say "Hello, my name is..."  That way, I won't have to make up my own names. Also, I kept wanting to call it “Age of Voltron.”

Of course, know that I'm not big into comic books and all my Marvel knowledge comes from Marvel vs.Capcom and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video games.

Speaking of the Avengers, you've got to go to YouTube and do a search for The Aveggies: Age of Bon Bon.  I liked that better than the movie!

Splatoon Preview

I tried it, too.  I enjoyed it a lot more than what I thought I would.  I couldn't get on Friday night because it said the servers were too full, but I was able to get two full hours in on the Saturday times.  I like how you don't have to be good at shooter games to enjoy this one, because I sure am not!  The two hours just flew by!

I picked the paint roller weapon usually since you don't have to be good at shooting to use it.  I usually won the matches I was in and was either first or second place each time, so I must've been doing something right, I guess.  Using the paint roller reminded me of the old arcade game Make Traxx aka Crush Roller.  Am I aging myself by saying that?  I also liked the little arcade game you could play while you wait for matches to start.  Yeah, I'm easily amused.

I sitll won't get the game unless I can get the Splatoon amiibo figures first because the things you unlock with them really interest me.  I've got the 3 pack reserved at Wal-Mart.com, but I'm leary about them cancelling pre-orders and such, so until I have them in my hot little hands, I won't be getting the game before then.

Retro Game of the Week: Air Zonk

Nintendo actually hired a bunch of Hudson Soft employees before the company got axed, so that's good.  For the longest time, Hudson Soft helped make the Mario Party games.

I never had a TurboGrafix 16, so I missed out on a lot of cool games.  That's why I'm glad that Hudson Soft was a huge supporter of the Wii and put a large library of their TG-16 games on Virtual Console.  I downloaded a lot of them, including this one and Air Zonk's TG CD sequel.  It really is a pretty cool game.  I miss Hudson Soft.

R.I.P. Konami

I dunno, just never really got into Castlevania.  A lot of people think that's weird, but I also never got into Punch Out and people think that's weird, too.  Only Castlevania game I really liked was Kid Dracula.

I imported the Parodius collection on PSP and I'm glad I did!  I miss region free handhelds.

I recommend Shovel Knight.

R.I.P. Konami

I'm not a big fan of Castlevania or Metal Gear, but I played a lot of other Konami games like the Gradius series.  I'm sitll mad they bought up Hudson Soft and squelched all their properties.  Hudson had a new Bonk game ready to go, and Konami could have made millions on Bomberman alone.  At least Nintendo hired a lot of ex-Hudson staff before that happened.  I'll miss Gradius and Parodius and we'll never see another Kid Dracula game.  It's sad to see such an influential company go like this, as they did a lot of important stuff, from Frogger to DDR, and everything in between.

Pip is releasing on all platforms.  That's what they told me at PAX anyway.
