It was kind of one of those "will he get it or will he be insulted or weirded out if I ask" moments.

I was going to get myself a PS4 when The Last Guardian came out, but I had to put money into my car that I wasn't expecting. So I will just enjoy good old Mt Backlog for another year.

Anything by Gibson is essential, lol. I also really liked Michael Swanwick's Vacuum Flowers. I kind of wish I hadn't gotten rid of all my old Asimov's Science Fiction Magazines now. There was a lot of cyperpunk showing up in them when I was in high school, because that seems to be when it was at it's height in popularity.

The Last King is in Norwegian with English subtitles. There's a series called The Last Kingdom that is in English, though.

I'm with you, Chris. Taking a wait and see attitude but ready to stand up and speak out if I feel I need to. I live in an area with a lot of Somali refugees, people I like and respect, and it bothers me that there was so much hate being spewed during the campaign.

Do you have Harry Belafonte's Christmas album? It's called To Wish You a Merry Christmas. It's one of my favorites.

I, too, like to walk in and do my voting in the little booth on Election Day. I went in early and was in and out in ten minutes from the time I walked into the high school gym until I walked out. I think it took me longer to find a parking space. I heard that from about 9:30 on, it was taking people about an hour.

I haven't seen that one. I miss having PBS and my weekly dose of Nature. I don't have cable, and that's the one channel I can't pull in.

I will admit to having bought Bioshock around the time I got my 360 and never having played it past the first 20 or so minutes. I liked what I played, but I'm not a big fan of first person games, I feel too claustrophobic, if that makes any sense.

Don't worry, I watch Hell's KItchen, I have no room to judge anyone else's TV choices!

Looking forward to reading these on GamerDad. Gurumin has me intrigued, because I tend to like a lot of the games you do.
