Mario's Puzzling Games

Which games did you not know about?  Just curious.

I wonder if I should teach a video game history class since people find my blogs educational.  All right, class, for tonight's homework, write a three page paper on The Tower of Druaga and how it reflects one of the most oldest pieces of Sumerian literature titled "The Epic of Gilgamesh."

Sorry you had to deal with that.  Oh well, it's always fun to watch your kids play games they enjoy.

Go Shiina does music for a lot of Namco games.  His first arcade music was for Panic Park, and his first console pieces were in Klonoa 2.  He's best known for doing the music for the Mr. Driller series, Tales of Legendia, and Gods Eater Burst.  But he also does some songs for the Ace Combat and Tekken series.

I forgot to mention that there is a song in Kirby Triple Deluxe that has a neat piano beginning.  And it's the final boss music of all things.  Just do a YouTube search for Kirby: F-L-O-W-E-R.

Now go read my new blog. :)

Yeah I figured that Zanarkand song would be on your list.  It is a good one, even if I don't like FFX.  My favorite game music composer, Go Shiina, does a little piano, but he does more violin stuff mostly.

Klonoa: Door to Phantomile had some nice piano in it in places.

We sure do stab and shoot a lot of people in games, don't we?

Well, most of the games I play have nothing to do with stabbing or shooting at all.  So just play what I play. You don't need your brain cells THAT badly, right? :)

The Aveggies is actually a Sesame Street skit, but VeggieTales is pretty awesome, too.  I reviewed that PS2 game that you're talking about.

Did you just say Portal in LEGO Dimensions?

Speaking of crazy, I know you like tablet games, so I think you should check out Galaga: Tekken 20th Anniversary Edition!  It's free, so what have you got to lose? :)

I enjoyed the movie but I don't think it was better than the first, just more of the same.  But the first was a fun action flick so that made this one fun, too.  Although if you showed me a clip from the first movie and a clip from the second, I probably couldn't tell you which one each clip was from.  Kind of like the Lord of the Rings movies.

I don't know who is in charge of the Avengers, whether it be Captain America or Eye Patch Man, but they need to make a new rule.  They need to require all new recruits to the Avengers to wear name tags that say "Hello, my name is..."  That way, I won't have to make up my own names. Also, I kept wanting to call it “Age of Voltron.”

Of course, know that I'm not big into comic books and all my Marvel knowledge comes from Marvel vs.Capcom and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video games.

Speaking of the Avengers, you've got to go to YouTube and do a search for The Aveggies: Age of Bon Bon.  I liked that better than the movie!
