I'd definately read your review. I'm sorry I didn't respond to you, just really busy the last few days. Thanks for compliment but I still think I have many years before I get close to Noe's level of depth.

Thanks!
I think the whole 4 OVA is on YouTube right now. I watched the full first episode, its pretty good compared to the Ruby Spears American Darkstalkers cartoon I used to watch as a kid.
Morrigan's role is really never evil. She's never really wanted to rule over Makai nor the human role. Morrigan just really like to have fun, and unforutnately that's about as deep as her personality has been given in the main series. The comics and other media have given them a much deeper understanding of the Darkstalkers universe however, most of that stuff has never been officall acknowledge as canon though it does go off and touch most of the game's canoncial events.
I've always wanted to play Darkstalkers on a Saturn. Capcom fighitng game ports are often always superior on a Saturn.
The first Darkstalkers is on PSN as a PSOne classic but I'd avoid that. Night Warrirors has everything in that game and adds more to it, so if your curious about the begining of Darkstalkers get Darkstalkers Ressurection instead.
I didn't know about the horror tropes too until I started a few years ago and even then what I found doing this blog project is really facinating. If you have time, I recommend going to the Darkstalkers Wiki and checking out some of the concept sketches they have. You can see some of the various horror tropes very clearly in some of the designs.
I've heard mixed things about Hotline Miami but mostly good. The last thing I bought that was $10 was Dayona USA. That was pretty fun.
Good to see your here too. Pixlbit is definately improving daily, I think you really like it here.
Actually, Darkstalkers has a pretty large and confusing story. While I love to see it continued, it needs to be seriously cleaned up first. If your interested there are two comic book series that do a pretty good job explaining the back story published by Udon. They do add a bit of fluff to it but its still pretty consistent to the Darkstalkers story.
