The absense of BC doesn't surprise me - nor is it something I demand.  It's only relevant in this particular instance where people who upgraded to the PS3 could still play God of War 2 because those original models had BC, where that won't be the case this go around.

And let's face it.  Most people don't hold onto older consoles once they buy the new.  They either sell it, give it away, or trade up.  Only collectors and horders hold on to the old like that.

This makes me very, very happy.

I got a little one on the way as well - she's due in just a couple of weeks!  I can understand the budgetary restraints that come with a bundle of joy like that.  I've been puting money away for my PS4 purchase every check so that won't have to come up with the sum at the time.

Congrats to you!  You'll love both your child and your XL when they come!

In my opinion it's totally worth it.  I bought the original before the price drop and upgraded just a couple of months ago.  No regrets.

It really is amazing that just like that Ryan Davis is gone.  He's been an important and influential figure in the industry for quite some time.  His enthusiasm was downright contagious - he was always good for a laugh - he was good for what we do.

I'll remember the good times as we all move forward.

We'd like to think that this is more akin to the Ultimate Universe version of the podcast.
