The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds Review

Posted on 02/09/2014 at 03:30 PM | Filed Under Review

Good review--it's one of the few I've read that doesn't fall over itself praising the game. I haven't played it yet, but thought it seemed kind of "samey" as well. That said, I'm surprised you were so impressed with the graphics--it's usually the one thing that is (softly) criticized, although the 3-D is superb.

I'm sure they'd love the support. I'm an indie writer myself, and I know how hard it is to develop an audience, especially with so much other stuff out there to compete with. But yeah, it's only $2.99 if you want to help them out. The series has potential.

Yeah, the receptionist at my job plays one all the time. I don't though, honest!

Drowning your own cats is tantamount to murder.

My cat hates water, which is handy because I can spray him with the water bottle when he jumps onto the kitchen table. He sure knows how to move!

Anyway, perhaps the cats of this game are Bengals or Turkish Vans--breeds of cats that enjoy the wawa.

Yeah, apparently there are huge stores of milk embedded deep within the earth's crust. Who would have thought?

It's a good little time waster with a decent challenge. Those extra classes are going to take some time to unlock, however, by which point the game may lose a bit of its charm.

Donkey Kong 64

DK 64 is a game that screams for some kind of achievement support. Who wants to take all that time getting 100% of everything without earning some kind of proof for the feat?

It's actually far simpler than even that game, having virtually no story and a far greater emphasis on action. The graphics are similar to Hero's PSP version, however.

Games vs. food. Hmmm. It's a tough choice, but I understand your decision.
