Dead Space 2 is so good! But yeah, I remember your first list and you'll be lucky to have time for any of these.

A PhD! That must keep you very busy. I've been finishing up some longer games, namely Hollow Knight and Live A Live, with Yakuza Zero close behind. Haven't settled on my next big game yet.
Appreciated! The most surprising thing for me with this game is how much I got sucked into playing Majima's cabaret club management mini game.
Cyber Citizen Shockman Zero is certainly a mouthful of a title! But the game sounds pretty fun and that screenshot in your review definitely makes me think of Mega Man.
I know this is the top of the Metrcritic lists for those years but man, what a stack of games that is! Galaxy 2 is so good. And Skyward Sword gets a bad rap, I think. People hate on it for the motion controls and the over tutorializing and chatty sword—none of which bothered me too much—but I felt its worst offense was bloat. It's just too long. BUT it also has excellent dungeons and the Zelda in this game is a really great character.
I probably will get that game too sometime! There really aren't that many Picross games and I do so enjoy Picross. I went with Story of Seasons this time because it was on sale.
It's very hard to imagine Destiny coming to an end, given its nature as a live service game. But yes, what next? I would say that maybe they will start up some second game to run alongside it BUT that's kind of already the case. They are making a Marathon game for Sony (who owns them now). It's some kind of multiplayer shooter, which sucks since the original Marathon games were great story-heavy games. I wish Bungie would make some self-contained, play-them-and-they're-done kind of games again.
I haven't really gotten into a Monkey Ball game since the first one on the GameCube but I've heard this one is very good. It's wild—but cool—the work they put into these mini games.
One day I will get around to playing Valkyria Chronicles! It will happen!
"I found out I own the digital version on Xbox 360. Who can keep track of all these digital games?" And this is why I go through the bother of maintaining my Backloggery account
