I'll be picking up Lightning returns just for the combat and the excuse to dress up Lightning in the kinkiest lingerie combinations imaginable!

Fret not,James. I don't know too much about MGSV besides for the press bitching and moaning over Quiet's sexy design. Because y'know, calling Kojima a misogynist is professional game journalism.
The PS3 is constantly getting the good stuff! The 360 has sort of "petered out" the last two years or so. I guess microsoft burned its' bridge with Japan so the lack of "fresh new games" on the 360 should not be all that surprising to me.
I suppose that's where we differ. I never understood the "big wow" behind E3. I guess it's nice to see games before they release to the general public. On the other hand, it's nice to be "surprised" too. Most of the time I rather not know what's coming just so I'll be pleasantly delighted when a game I like pops up out of the blue. Then again, I don't like big floors packed with big crowds either. Nor do I like E3's dumb-ass "VIP" snobbishness.
The brawling in particular is like DD,Aaron. Your "spinning sweep attack" totally saves your ass by knocking enemies back when they are piling up on you. If only it did as much damage as a cyclone kick too!
I thought my point was "too much graphic violence" for a Y's game. I did not say it was "too sexy" to be a Y's game.
That's a big fly. lol. Kind of reminds me of certain depictions of Belezebub. (Lord of flies) I like the surroundings. Sort of looks like the ether-world in Beetle-juice. (Burton is pretty big on patterns and Gothic architecture)
THe only thing Binary Domain dropped the ball with is a lack of co-op in the main story campaign. Beyond that it's totally great from head to toe, though! I also love how dogged the robot soldiers are. You can blow their legs off and they will still crawl after you and try grabbing you.
I'd definitely recommend Brutal Legend. It was much better than I thought it would be. I thought it was just going to be a cheap cash-in to get money out of Metal-fans but the story and the characters were all really well done. I even liked the RTS band battles but your mileage may vary!
I always wondered what would happen if Batman went to Silent-Hill. Bruce certainly carries a lot of psychological baggage!
