That EO IV bonus soundtrack disc is mighty appealing. I guess I'll have to buy it at launch after all... Oh, I would have anyway but now I have additional incentive.

No, this is serious. We've instituted a round-the-clock suicide watch at PixlBit HQ to make sure Matt pulls through this bout of self-reflection.
There are some additional deals to be had as part of this celebration. I'm using the opportunity to finally buy Bastion, which is half off.
Some reviews complain of a terrible difficulty spike mid-game. Did you run into this at all?
Option the Best: Darkened Skye
Luigi's Mansion is all I've got.
Now instead of throwing your controller on the ground in anger, you can throw your entire 3DS!
I don't think I can name favorites, but to key off of Julian, I will say that Zelda games have some great intros. Zelda II freaked me right out as a child, and I think I sat and watched Ocarina of Time's intro about 3 times before I started playing the game the first time. Here's a pretty slick compilation of Zelda intros: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqXTBR_YdOs&feature=related
Most of them are so somber compared to the overall sense I get from the rest of the time spent in those games. I guess Twilight Princess and Majora's Mask are pretty dark, but generally I feel like the games are set in cheery places with bad neighborhoods.
Also, for some reason I get psyched up at the robot female voice saying "good morning" at the start of Armored Core V. It is hardly an "intro" and it's pretty dumb that she says "good morning" whenever you are playing, but still... It gets me jazzed to play. Ahh! More convincing!
I think if you poke around a bit you'll find that Gearbox has a few deep-seated issues with females. Counseling is needed, stat!
I keep avoiding these games because I fear my certain addiction to them. You're making it harder to stay away.
