my favorite moment is in RE1. I think it's after defeating the tyrant, and I think it's while playing as Jill. You walk out to find Barry Burton critically wounded. He's ashamed of himself for being a double-crosser, and tells Jill to leave him behind. Then he hands Jill a photo of his wife and kid. Very touching moment for me. It redeemed Berry for me, despite all his cheesy lines.
I also loved A Link Between Worlds. Thought it was a bit easy, though. As for the Zelda timeline, I ignore it and just treat each game as its own story. They're all good, although i had a tough time getting into the Oracle games.
I read that blog. Very good read. I agree with your assessment, especially about the lack of interesting apps, and inclusion of subpar ones. The Wii TV app just plain old sucks. Make sure to check out Mario 3D World. Loved that game. Lots of content. Take care.
Aha, it appears you're already on my friends list! Perhaps a carry over from 3DS, where most of my handful of Wii U friends originated. And yeah, I meant to add on friends list, not Miiverse. Shows hom much tie I'm spent managing friends on there, although I think Miiverse and Friends list are the same? Confusing...
Thank you, Quim. Also, if people want to list their Miiverse name here in a comment, I'll add ya that way. Thanks.
Hey, I just realized that it's you, Pacario, from 1up. Glad to see you. I always enjoyed your blogs. Good to see another familiar face!
I agree that a couple older retro tracks should have been included. I like the Wii and 3DS ones that are there, but they are so new, the don't feel retro at all.
I like the games I played on Wii U, but they are too few and far between. IMO, the biggest mistake Nintendo made with Wii U was calling it Wii U. It's a horrible name, and confusing for casual Nintendo fans. I would prefer Wii 2 or something like that, but Wii U sounds ridiculous to me.
lol. Good to see you posting. Maybe you'll buy a PS4?
