The offbeat first person brawler will be followed up in 2013.
Last night, ahead of the E3 rush, Atlus revealed that ACE Team is in the process of developing a sequel to Zeno Clash, simply titled Zeno Clash II. The Rock of Ages developer is producing the first-person brawler for the PC, Xbox Live Arcade, and the PS3 PlayStation Network and is expecting to release it in "early 2013."
Coming to PC, the PlayStation 3's PSN, and Xbox Live Arcade sometime early in 2013.
The Rock of Ages is giving away a Christmas present in the form of an update, exclusively for the Steam version on PC.
Check out the special theme this weekend only.
Rock of Ages, the quirky boulder-rolling tower defense game came out of nowhere earlier this year to capture reviewers and players with its over-the-top setting and theme. That theme is going to get just a little more colorful this weekend, thanks to an in-game Halloween décor and a special boulder for the PC version of the game.
I am more interested in the 'Rock of Ages' than I am in the age of rocks.
I am always happy when an XBLA game comes out that is more than just a skinned engine or a shooter with no story. Rock of Ages, created by ACE Team, is a memorable game for the unique way in which it recounts various events and persons in history. While it is an enjoyable game, it will quickly wear thin with its incredibly unbalanced game engine.
Available now on Xbox Live Arcade, on September 7 for PC through Steam, and thereafter this Summer on the PlayStation Network.
