Holmes' best adventure yet still isn't very good.
European developer Frogwares has spent much of the past decade building a company around Sherlock Holmes, releasing eight adventure games featuring the iconic character since 2002. No developer knows Holmes better than Frogwares, and it's safe to say its latest offering, The Testament of Sherlock Holmes, is the most ambitious yet.
For those that have been waiting for the book to finally come out on "video game."
After 125 years, Sherlock Holmes is finally getting his own console game. The Testament of Sherlock Holmes is an investigation game that puts the player in charge of examining crimes scenes, collecting clues and evidence, pursuing leads, questioning witnesses and suspects, and other detective tasks. Atlus will be bringing the Frogwares-developed game to North America in September.
Coming to PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 in September, 2012.
