Nintendo and Microsoft Represent

Nintendo's big pimpin' in their black Escalade.

Walking to lunch today, we had a couple surprises. It seems Microsoft has decided to put out an awesome statue for Halo: Reach in the E3 main hallway that a group of artists were finishing on the spot.

We only managed to snap two pictures, one from Rob and one from Jason as pictures were strictly forbidden, but as you can see it is looking pretty sharp.

For Nintendo, we managed to walk past an Escalade donning the Nintendo logo. The ride was more than likely for transporting bigwig execs, but who knows. The Escalade is pictured below.

You should have ran up to the car to check to see if the doors were locked.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Review

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen an entry in the Metroid Prime series - 18 years, in fact. It was 8 years ago that Metroid Prime 4 was originally announced and its development was more than a little turbulent. Initially developed by Bandai Namco, it was later scrapped completely and development was shifted back to Retro Studios to start the project over. In the end, Retro has delivered a solid new entry in the series, but one that doesn’t totally capture what originally made the series so compelling.
