PixlTalk Episode 4: Off the Charts

This hefty episode covers Neal's PS3 acquisition, massive amounts of Uncharted love, and a breakdown of a few recent press events.

Our fourth episode turns out to be a long one. While Lauren wasn't able to add much, she gives us her final Deca Sports 2 impressions. Neal gushes over his shiny new PS3 slim, as well as all his great new Blu-Ray-based games. Chessa covers A Witch's Tale and the latest South Park title while Nick expresses his Uncharted 2 love (and is accompanied by both Neal and Chessa).

The second segment covers both VGXPO 2009 and Namco Bandai's winter press event where Neal had the opportunity to play a few yet-to-be-released titles alongside Nick's younger brother Phil.

Please feel free to send us some listener mail at PixlTalk AT PixlBit DOT com. We'll without question read it on the show and probably have a discussion about it as well. So send 'em over.

It was 8 years ago that Metroid Prime 4 was originally announced and its development was more than a little turbulent. Initially developed by Bandai Namco, it was later scrapped completely and development was shifted back to Retro Studios to start the project over. In the end, Retro has delivered a solid new entry in the series, but one that doesn’t totally capture what originally made the series so compelling.
