PB & Jason Issue 121: The Third Strongest PB & Jason

Of all the PB & Jasons, I believe this one to be the third strongest.

Earthbound is on the way to the Virtual Console! I thought it would never happen. Other good news from today's Nintendo Direct includes a new Zelda title, a new Yoshi's Island game, and some release dates. However, all of this information is sombered by a shocking realization: With the exception of SiNG Party and debatably Kirby's Dream Collection: Special Edition, Nintendo hasn't released a single console game that was announced after E3 2011. Mystifying! Oh, and the podcast actually starts up with some talk about EA's latest "de"-ward followed by the continuing Amazon/Nintendo mystery. Click through to listen!

PB & Jason can not be heard unless one first connects to the internet. That is the way of the future!

Wasn't there a Colbert Report where they foreclosed a Bank of America branch? Or was that a different finance company? Also, I think said foreclosure was reported elsewhere, but I'm a white, twenty-three year old male, so don't expect things against type for me. Tongue Out Also, it proves a point about how entertainment is growing in importance as you said, doesn't it? I may as well be watching Colbert, because as we saw once again with the false "scoops" during the Boston Bombing, even the news channels are entertainment networks, not solidly journalistic entities.

I strongly dislike EA's practices, but support marriage equality ... did not think one would have to do with the other in the context of voting on the Consumerist's Razzie equivalent.

I was not aware of the Nintendo/Sony/Amazon thing, so can't really comment, either. I agree you'd probably get "we don't comment on specualtion" from any involved parties, anyway.

I'm excited for them using the third dimension in a top-down Zelda as well. I will listen to the second half of this later.

I haven't played Ninendoland, but it does look like fun. As for Earthbound, I didn't like it as a kid, and it's one of the first games to tip me off that I didn't really like JRPGs all that much. It's cool they're finally re-releasing it, though.

I'm almost never able to tune into podcasts live, so I'd have to say no for my interest, but I do like listening to these. Just a production note, though, it sounds like you're recording near an air conditioning vent that was on for a portion of the podcast. Don't know if you're able to change your position, though, and it wasn't all that distracting, so whatever, keep these coming.

Today's will be a day late. I'm feeling lazy. Expect it tomorrow.

And, Mr. Step, that's because the air conditioner in my apartment can be very loud sometimes. I'll alter the mic's sensitivity next time around, and maybe it'll more difficult to hear the air conditioner relative to me.

Some weeks are just off weeks for PB & Jason. This week is one of those off weeks. I promise I'll talk about Nintendo's lack of a major press conference at E3 next week, though. I have some very solid ideas about that I don't think other people have really stated yet.

Come on Ross, stop doing other things and putting off this chore of giving us PB and Jason.  With whats been going with E3 and the way fan sites get treated can't say I'm not surprised.

I'll be recording one tonight. Sure, it's late, been a busy day. It'll be up very late, but still what I'd call tonight, even though not everyone would.
