PB & Jason Issue 6: Music Games And Video Games Live

In this episode, PB and Jason goes where it's never gone before. Where? You'll have to listen and find out.

Oh, yeah. Also, I talk briefly about music games I've played and how they've progressed over time.

After that, we all get to hear my raving impressions of Video Games Live! Believe it or not, I was impressed. It's worth tuning in just for that, so download the new issue, and get listening!

I know... I gotta believe!

OH NO! I forgot about some awesome fanart I received! And it was even music-related! It'll be in the next issue, I promise!

This isn't my favorite issue, for some reason. I had to record it over multiple sessions, in different locations, and I think it kind of drones on for that reason. If you don't like how this particular issue starts out, I urge you to jump about fifteen minutes in and find the part about Video Games Live and the new music, since those are, honestly, in retrospect, the better parts.

Next issue has already been recorded, and I have to say, PB & Jason comes back in full force with it, so make sure to stay tuned!

I still can't believe you don't like this issue, I thought it really highlights what makes your podcast special, such as discussing interesting things about a type of game whilst adding a personal spin to it as well. I actually wasn't as interested in the Video Games Live section as I was the stuff about Pa Rappa. I guess that just shows you how our tastes differ.

The reason I say it is that I just felt like afterward, uploading it, as though I could have covered the content, particularly the stuff about the music games, quite a bit better than I did.

I'm glad you liked it, though.

Video Games Live is definitely worth going to.

I had the chance to go see VGL for free at Dundas Square, Toronto. It was free for everyone. I liked Tommy's Castlevania part quite a bit because, well I didn't really expect him to do it, but it was awesome nonetheless. They had this soprano (I'm not really sure) that was awesome singing the God of War theme with the choir.

Next time they come to Toronto I'm definitely going again, even if I have to pay a ticket.

Absolutely, it was. And that's what surprised me. The CD did it no where near justice, and while I'm not fond of the individuals making the decisions, everything came together incredibly well. It would be well worth the money to attend a local VGL concert for anyone who likes games and music.
