I tried to download the promo copy Square Enix gave us today, so I could begin to play it for a review. Unfortunately, it looked like PSN was down at the time. Keep your eyes and ears open to hear more about the game in the upcoming days!

Yeah looks kinda cool, I'm definitely interested to see how it turns out.
So far, so good. Tons of weapon types invite several unique styles of gameplay. I've played probably 30 stages of it, since they're about two or three minutes long apiece, and each stage feels a little unique.
Not ready for a review, though! Depending on how many stages and unlockables there are, it could be anytime from Sunday to partway through next week that I write it.
I'm just going to double post:
I beat the main mode tonight, and it's a solid game. I haven't fully explored all the bonuses and challenges, which I'll probably spend time doing on Saturday, should I get time. It's got just about everything one would expect to be considered an arcade shmup with some added style, as well. If you can't wait until the review is up, my recommendation is "Buy."
