I have DKC3 on the VC so I'm interested to hear your thoughts and comparisons to DKCR.
For your next game you should do StarFox on the SNES.
Jason's back in for this week of PB & Jason. Thanks for filling in last week, Nate!
This week's PB & Jason consists of a bit of rage, really. Expect to hear disappointment in Nintendo's latest Wii console and software discounts, particularly sentiments resembling "Too little, too late."
Additionally, some new news about PSN and SOE's collective hacking is discussed. Rumor has it, someone anonymous was behind at least one of the two networks' attacks.
This issue concludes with two minor pieces of news, one relating to Zelda tradition and Skyward Sword, while the other is all about Harmonix and the music game industry.
Next week: Aside from standard PB & Jason fare, I'll be looking back on Donkey Kong Country 3, playing it at some point between now and then. Feel free to join in and play the game too, because I definitely expect some listener mail!
It’s been a long time since we’ve seen an entry in the Metroid Prime series - 18 years, in fact. It was 8 years ago that Metroid Prime 4 was originally announced and its development was more than a little turbulent. Initially developed by Bandai Namco, it was later scrapped completely and development was shifted back to Retro Studios to start the project over. In the end, Retro has delivered a solid new entry in the series, but one that doesn’t totally capture what originally made the series so compelling.
