I know I haven't gotten to participate or comment all that much but I've been sticking with the show. I try to use what little free time I have to actually play games, so the internet doesn't see me all that much lol. And commuting is my podcast time, so I never can comment right when I'm thinking about it. But I wanted to make sure to comment after listening to this episode because I was rather shocked, first by Patrick's gross oversimplification of Dark Souls—apparently any game with dodging and hitting is just like Dark Souls—and then by how he dismissed Julian's opinion as invalid. In fact, he said anyone who disagreed with him simply hadn't thought through it enough. I sure hope such hubris was fueled by alcohol because surely he's not such an ass when sober...right? Then again, how often is he sober for the podcast And Julian, don't be so quick to assume that Patrick is everyone's favorite because it's simply not true.
