I know I haven't gotten to participate or comment all that much but I've been sticking with the show. I try to use what little free time I have to actually play games, so the internet doesn't see me all that much lol. And commuting is my podcast time, so I never can comment right when I'm thinking about it. But I wanted to make sure to comment after listening to this episode because I was rather shocked, first by Patrick's gross oversimplification of Dark Souls—apparently any game with dodging and hitting is just like Dark Souls—and then by how he dismissed Julian's opinion as invalid. In fact, he said anyone who disagreed with him simply hadn't thought through it enough. I sure hope such hubris was fueled by alcohol because surely he's not such an ass when sober...right? Then again, how often is he sober for the podcast Undecided And Julian, don't be so quick to assume that Patrick is everyone's favorite because it's simply not true.

I appreciate you taking the time to comment on this episode. After being there for the conversation and sitting through it again during editing, I think Patrick was trying to troll me to argue his point, which he enjoys doing sometimes. I don't think he could truly be serious about that argument, because by that logic Mario Kart is just like Gran Turismo because you accelerate and brake, and Call of Duty is just like Overwatch because they are both first person and you shoot things.

Patrick gets the most love in our comments, and when it's just Angelo and I there is decidedly less feedback on the show, which is where my comment on that came from. People certainly aren't listening to the show for my boring ass! Thank you for listening! It's easy for me to assume that the only people listening are the ones that comment regularly, but I know that's not the case, and it's nice to have a reminder from time to time.

I have a confession. When I listen to NWP while commuting, I...I wear pants!

One of the best things about FFXV is that it gives you that "Holy shit am I playing a video game?" feeling. It is so aestetically beautiful that you can get lost just looking at the scenary. I want that from a game that expects me to put in 40+ hours and 60+ dollars. I want to appreciate the work that was put into making it, and I certainly get that from XV.
