SaGa Frontier was one of my favorite unsung PS1 games. It had one of the best soundtracks on PS1 and I loved the vaguely dystopian neon aesthetic that SaGa Frontier and FFVII employed. It was deeply flawed and a lot of stuff was left on the cutting room floor.
There is a re-release coming for Switch and PS4 which is supposed to include a lot of the cut content, including Fuse's scenario. Hoping for a physical release since Romancing SaGa 3 recently got one.
Star Ocean 2 was the first Enix game I'd seen since the NES. Hopefully that one follows its predecessor to the Switch.
Tales of Eternia was titled as Tales of Destiny II in the US. Namco was worried that "Eternia" would expose them to a lawsuit from Mattel, the owners of the Masters of the Universe. There were, in fact, several Tales games released over here. Tales of Symphonia came out on the Gamecube in 2004 with a high-quality localization partially funded by Nintendo. It was the breakout hit of the series. There was also a PS2 version that released later in Japan, but Nintendo apparently contributed enough to the localization of the Gamecube version to keep Symphonia a Gamecube-exclusive title in the US. The PS2 version was worse anyway, being 30 FPS while the GC version was 60 FPS. Tales of Legendia and Tales of the Abyss came out on the PS2 after Symphonia, and Nintendo localized the Game Boy Advance version of Tales of Phantasia.
Valkyrie Profile was another favorite of mine. I passed over Chrono Cross in favor of Valkyrie Profile and am glad I did so. My copy of VP is now worth a lot of money.
