Yeah, I got a PS3, Wii, Gamecube, and Xbox 360 hooked up in my room, and then the Wii U out in the living room, so I can play on the Gamepad while I chill with the fam.  What do you got?

My cabinet is divided into four sections: Top left has my PS3 only, bottom left has my Wii and most recently Retron 5, top right has my Wii U and PS4, and bottom right has 360.

Right now, all my systems are in bags or bins. It's a big pile in my room that I have to organize soon. I moved my TV to my friend's place and carry the console I'm playing back and forth. I'm getting ready to recycle my old PC towers which stand in the middle of this pile. Then I have a shelf with all my handhelds: GBA SP, DSlite, DSi XL, 3DS XL, PSP 3000 and PS Vita. I keep the one I'm playing in my backpack at all times in sleep mode ready to go.

I'll take a picture of the mess that is my video game collection tomorrow morning and post it later. I guess you could say I don't have a rig at all right now. It only exists temporarily at my friend's place on the weekend. I'll shoot that too, just for fun.

Whats the story behind that?

@Matt Snee: I just found that I wasn't getting any time for console gaming, or movie watching for that matter, during the week. I'm trying to get into fitness during the day, and I squeeze in some computer time after work in the wee hours. That doesn't leave any TV time. My old CRT TV at my friend's place was pretty lame anyway, so I got rid of that and moved my flat screen over there, where I do all my console gaming during the weekend. I try and get some handheld gaming in during the week though. That seems manageable.

ah that makes sense.  i wish i had more structure with my console gaming, I haven't done it for a while, and miss it.  Just always something else in the way.

@Matt Snee: I think if it weren't for my friend Mark, who I play with, I might only play handhelds at this point. Most of my solo gaming interests are old school RPGs, and the handhelds have that covered.

junk  The pile of consoles and games I have to organize.

shelf The shelf of handhelds. My DSi XL is missing here because it is in my backpack. I still haven't used those AR cards with my 3DS. Gotta do that. That's my trade paperback comics below that.

We have our PS3, Wii U, GameCube, and 360 hooked up to the HD tv in the living room and smaller CRT tv in our bedroom with SNES, Genesis, and PS2. That one's a pain because we can have only one console hooked into the tv at once Frown

@daftman: That's cool. New school in the living room, old school in the bed room. That's got to be a euphemism for something.

ah that's a nice set up.  I wish I had a CRT with a Dreamcast and a Sega CD hooked up, that would make me happy.

At present....I have:

-PS3 in the living room

-Xbox 360 with no hard drive, busted disc drive, and no controller in the main bedroom

-3DS XL with broken hinge sitting on a shelf

-PSP with no charger sitting on a shelf

-Low spec PC in the living room

I stick mainly with my PS3.  I will never, ever ever ever buy a Microsoft gaming console again.
