Got a second copy for my friend Mark so we could play co-op. Gamestop had just lowered the price to $20. I paid $15 after I used the rest of my trade-in money from last time.

And I dowloaded BattleBlock Theater on Xbox 360 as it is free right now for Gold members. Remember Goldmember from Austin Powers?

I ended up buying the Double Dragon NEON Soundtrack directly from the composer, Jake Kaufman, for a paltry dollar....the music is great, and plays really nice in a music based shooter such as Beat Hazard.

I picked up Destroy All Humans: Path of the Furon on Xbox Live for $5. I know it's not as good as the first two games, but I always wanted to play this one. Too bad Pandemic closed up soon after. We'll never see another DAH game again. but I think about it often.

Also preordered another copy of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edtion so my friend and I can play it as soon as it comes out on Aug. 19th.

I spent a little bit of time with the regular edition on my PS3...it was fun stuff.  From what I understand though, the first playthrough isn't even considered the actual game by Diablo enthusiasts..?

I take it that it's a game meant to be replayed to the umpteenth power?

@xDarthKiLLx: Everyone says Adventure Mode is the best part of the game. You have bounties and fight in super hard dungeons called Nephelim Rifts. I can't wait to play the story mode too. I'll have to anyway to unlock Adventure Mode.

Traded a bunch of stuff and got Dark Souls on PS3 for the Pixlbit game club starting Monday. I had some left over and put it towards my preorder of Diablo III Ultimate Evil Edition. Apparently if you put trade-in money towards this game at Gamestop, you get 40% more credit. I've half paid if off now.

i picked up Pool Nation via Steam for $1.49

I've only played a bit of the tutorial and one match, but thus far it's fun and fair.

Divinity: Original Sin.  A classic style CRPG in the way of Baldur's Gate, etc.  But with turn based battling.  It's freaking great so far.  Very enveloping.

Picked up a laser cleaner for my friend's 360. I didn't work because the drive is clearly broken. It wouldn't even read it. Oh well, forced into download-only whether either of us likes it or not. Bye bye laser discs.

While I was at Gamestop, I saw Tales of Symphonia Chronicles for $20 new. so I picked that up.

Then I looked up Xbox Live's sales and picked up Final Fight Double Impact for $4

Cancelled both my preorders because my friend's 360 drive is busted and used the money to pick up Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z since Gamestop just lowered the price to $20. I'm aware of the so so reviews, but I love this game's attitude and want to play it anyway. Haters can "take a suck!!!"

I saw a Star Wars Xbox 360 there at Gamestop and that got me thinking. . .

I finally came up with a solution to my out-of-work friend's broken 360 drive. I got a new 360 for myself and gave him my old one. What made the decision for me was seeing a Star Wars Edition Xbox 360 on the shelf at my Gamestop. It has a bigger hard drive and looks really cool. I also got a 1 year warranty just in case of any bugs in the system.

I figure both of us win in this situation. I get a hard drive upgrade, style points and his old 360 to trade in, and my friend gets a 360 with a working drive. I didn't expect my yearly hardware purchase to be another 360, but there you go.

Well, a buddy of mine has been hounding me for weeks to play GTA V with him. I've always wanted to see this enormous virtual city Rockstar created. I also had lots of trade-in credit from my friend's old Xbox 360, so I finally picked it up. Now to find the time.

Picked up Taito Legends Power Up for PSP and Haze for PS3 at a local retro shop, Jay Street Video Games. I paid more than I wanted for Taito Legends ($17), but it was in the box and it's kind of hard to find in the wild. Haze is an old favorite of mine and I got a second copy for my friend so we could play it again online co-op. It was $2. I've got a few other PS3 games to pick up for real cheap that we can play online co-op while he waits for his Xbox 360 ID to get fixed by MS.

Added a couple of games to the 3DS Library

Pilotwings Resort

Doctor Lautrec...and the Forgotten Knights

Both were $5 each at GameStop. I'm also thinking about downloading the Club Nintendo games for this month

Got kinda discouraged posting here. Felt like I was the only one. (I talk like Rorschach now, deal with it). Glad to see some new posts. I don't have a picture but I bought Splatterhouse on Xbox 360 for itself and the three previous Splatterhouse games that are in there as unlockables. My friend Mark got me Fist of the North Star on NES on Amazon. It was cheap. I downloaded Rygar and Military Madness on Virtual Console and I got Xevious and Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition on XBLA. Oh yea, and I bought the four Mii Plaza games on 3DS in the bundle. I'll start posting pics again next time. I love doing that, as long as I'm not the only one.
