I'll be trying to tune in at various parts, myself, but I'm not making official promises. I've got a lot of studying to do for some finals, so we'll see.
Nintendo World Report Hosts Live Podcast For Child's Play
Tomorrow, December 4 at 12 PM EST, the RFN crew and members from the staff will be coming together to live podcast for the charitable organization.
As many of you know, we here at PixlBit got our start over at Nintendo World Report, and we wanted to take this opportunity to alert you guys to a cool little event they are holding tomorrow, December 4, 2010. Their Radio Free Nintendo podcast crew is getting together for an all day live podcast starting at 12 PM Eastern Standard Time.
The crew is podcasting to pull in some cash for Child's Play, the charitable organization that provides video games and other assorted toys to kids in the hospital. Over the course of the day, the staff is hoping to raise a monumental $5,000, of which they've already raised a thousand dollars towards.
To help them reach their goal, a few special guests will be joining the crew. Craig Harris from IGN will be stopping by for an hour long segment on holiday games, future systems, and more. Jeff Kalles will have an hour to discuss Child's Play and a look back on Metroid Prime Hunters. Finally, site founder, Billy Berghammer will be stopping in to do an hour-long segment on 3DS and Wii 2 wishlists.
The live production should be a real treat for fans of Nintendo and excellent gaming discussion. Head over to NWR tomorrow and be sure to at least make a little donation to Child's Play for the kids in the name of the guy's efforts.
