Two new Xbox 360 Bundles Announced for Holiday Season

Microsoft provides a console bundle for new 360 gamers, and a controller bundle for 360 veterans.

Straight from Microsoft’s press office comes news of two new holiday Xbox 360 bundles.

The first is called the Xbox 360 Elite Holiday Bundle, and will include an Xbox 360 Elite console, along with a copy of Pure and Lego Batman: The Videogame. This package will retail for $299, and ships today to the US and Canada.

The second bundle is the XBOX 360 Wireless Controller Game Pack, which comes packaged with a black Xbox 360 wireless controller, a forty-eight hour Xbox LIVE Gold trial membership, a downloadable token for Ms. Pac-Man, and three different arcade titles: Lumines Live!, Bomberman Live!, and Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2. This bundle will ship to all countries where Xbox LIVE service is supported this November and retail for $59.99.

It was 8 years ago that Metroid Prime 4 was originally announced and its development was more than a little turbulent.
