Japanese Game Developers Largely Unaffected By Earthquake

Game Companies stationed in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto are largely unhurt.

By now, many have heard of the devastating 8.9 earthquake that hit the north-eastern part of Japan. IGN reports that many Japanese game developers, such as Hideo Kojima, are tweeting that they are safe. However, at the time of this press release, Nintendo, Namco, Atlus and Sony have not said anything about their status.

For anyone wishing to help out, please visit the Red Cross's webpage on the event for more information.

All of us at PixlBit hope for the best in this tragic situation.

That was a pretty crazy natural event, it's good to hear that relatively little life was lost. It's caused a lot of damages though, so hopefully those who no longer have suitable living conditions can get the aid they need.
