Fable II: Game Episodes Debuts
Fable II is being released in downloadable bite-sized chunks, and the first one is free!
The first of five downloadable episodes of Fable II came out today. The episodes, first revealed at Gamescom 2009, are small parts of Fable II's 2008 retail release broken up for the digital world.
The first episode, which covers the beginning of your hero's life and continues until they comes of age, is free. The subsequent episodes will be 800 Microsoft Points ($10) each, and users will be prompted to purchase them when they conclude the previous episode. However, there is currently no release date set for the four remaining episodes.
