Nintendo Announces a Variety of New DS and Wii Titles

Professor Layton and the Last Specter, Kirby Mass Attack, Mario Party 9, Kirby Wii, Fortune Street, and Rhythm Heaven, just to name a few.

With Nintendo's press conference now over, Nintendo's press site has revealed a number of games that didn't receive time during the presentation. The DS will see release of four new games published by first party Nintendo, and the Wii will see seven titles, four of which are new.

Professor Layton and the Last Specter, the fourth title in the Layton series will be releasing on the DS at an unspecified point in the future. Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 will also be published by Nintendo, though the game was developed by TOSE and published by Square Enix in Japan. Kirby Mass Attack and Super Fossil Fighters are both first party developed games, and both will arrive this year, with Kirby coming first on September 19 and Super Fossil Fighters coming this holiday season.

On the Wii, players will be able to experience the known titles, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Wii Play: Motion, and Mystery Case Files: The Malgrave Incident. Players will also get a new entry in the Mario Party series, Mario Party 9, a new Rhythm Heaven, Fortune Street, and Kirby Wii, which was teased a while back by Nintendo.

Currently the fact sheets on Nintendo's press site are down, but when they come back up we'll have all of the confirmed information for release dates and features of these games.

The person I'm referring to is, of course, Michael Alvarado, otherwise known as Michael117.
