Microsoft Announces Kinectimals: Now With Bears

Lions and Tigers and (now) Bears. Oh my!

In recent years, many developers have created games centered around caring for animals of all kinds, and Microsoft has taken the experience to the next level with Kinect. Their first hands-free title within the genre, Kinectimals, gave players the opportunity to care solely for wild cats, such as lions, tigers, black panthers, and leopards. But now, Microsoft has developed a new addition to the series, a DLC pack titled, Kinectimals: Now with Bears.

The DLC will include a selection of five different bear species (Black, Grizzly, Cinnamon, Glacier and Polar), as well as a new guide named Bumblina. Variety does not end there, as players will be able to unlock ten additional animals through exploration. Players can also anticipate new tricks and activities to engage in with their animal, as well as new collectibles to find.

According to Eurogamer, the DLC title will also include an adventure mode, wherein players will search for a mysterious device that was lost 200 years ago on an uncharted island.

Kinectimals: Now With Bears is due out this fall as a retail package for $49.99 or through the “Bear Island” DLC for $14.99.

A selection of screen shots from the upcoming title can be found here.

What are the odds that the bears act like dogs, just like the cats do?

The person I'm referring to is, of course, Michael Alvarado, otherwise known as Michael117.
