Phantasy Star Online 2 Delayed

The sequel to the popular Dreamcast game will now be available in 2012.

Sega has announced the Phantasy Star Online 2's release date as been postponed. Originally supposed to be available this year, the PC game will now be released in 2012.

Satoshi Sakai, the game's producer, said the reason for the delay was due to community feedback of the first alpha build of the game and the decision to make improvements. A second alpha will be released in early 2012 and those who participated in the first alpha will be allowed entry, as well as new players.
