Left 4 Dead DLC Released

The Crash Course DLC is available now on both Steam and the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Yesterday, Valve released the Crash Course DLC on both the Xbox Live Marketplace and Steam for Left 4 Dead.

The DLC features a few new items including a campaign chapter that connects two chapters from the main game, No Mercy and Death Toll. It also features a new versus experience as well as ten new achievements.

In commemoration of its release, Valve is offering Left 4 Dead for half price on Steam until October 2. Players can pick up the Crash Course DLC on the PC for free, or on the Marketplace for 560 MS Points.

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen an entry in the Metroid Prime series - 18 years, in fact. It was 8 years ago that Metroid Prime 4 was originally announced and its development was more than a little turbulent. Initially developed by Bandai Namco, it was later scrapped completely and development was shifted back to Retro Studios to start the project over. In the end, Retro has delivered a solid new entry in the series, but one that doesn’t totally capture what originally made the series so compelling.
