Sony Gives You the Chance to Get the Vita a Week Early

Limited First Edition bundle to ship February 15, 2012

For some gamers waiting for that next big game release or the launch of new hardware can be too much to bear.  They don’t just want to get the latest tech on day one; they need to get it before everyone else.  Lucky for these people Sony will help to make the dream of getting an early release a reality with the announcement of the PS Vita First Edition Bundle.

The bundles will be available for a limited time at select retailers in the US and in Canada starting today.  Both bundles are identical in content and include the 3G + Wi-Fi model of the Vita, a limited edition case, a 4GB PS Vita Memory Card and a copy of Little Deviants.  The only thing that isn’t the same is the price; the US edition will retail for $349.99 while the Canadian edition will go for $299.99.

In addition to all of the content listed above, both bundles will be made available for pick-up on February 15, 2012, a full week before the official launch date of February 22.

Unfortunately you’ll still have to wait to play any other games since launch titles will still only be available on the official launch date.

Stay tuned to PixlBit for further coverage of the PS Vita as its launch date draws closer.
