Resident Evil Chronicles HD Select Announced for PS3

Resident Evil on rails is coming to a PS3 near you.

It may be hard to believe, but Resident Evil is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year.  As a result we’ve had a relative tsunami of Resident Evil announcements and re-releases this year, and today we’re reporting on yet another piece of Resident Evil news. The on-rails Resident Evil shooters on the Wii are now making their way to the PS3.

Capcom announced earlier today at that it will be bringing the once Wii exclusive Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles and Darkside Chronicles to the PlayStation 3 in a single title aptly called Resident Evil Chronicles HD Selection.  Designed to be used with the Wii-mote, both games will naturally feature Move support as a main means of control.

At this time no release date has been announced, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted once more information is available.
