Assassin's Creed Revelations Does Not Have Always-On DRM

This is a change from Ubisoft's recent treatment of its PC titles.

The PC version of Assassin's Creed Revelations will not come with always-on DRM. Ubisoft confirmed to Rock, Paper, Shotgun that players need to be online when they first start the game, but that after that, no connection is needed.

The exclusion of the controversial DRM comes after its inclusion into PC titles like From Dust and Driver: San Fransisco. Assassin's Creed Revelations will be released for the PC on December 2, 2011, two weeks after the console versions.
