Xbox Live Black Friday Sale Begins Today!

But today is Tuesday...

Running from November 22 to November 28, Microsoft has announced week-long Black Friday deals. A number of games and DLC are available at a discounted price. Along with the game deals, Microsoft is offering a 12-month Gold subscription for 33% off, or about $40. Check out our Super Meat Boy, Stacking, and The Da Vinci Disappearance reviews! All three were written by Nick and Chessa, but I have to say from my own experience that the former two are great games at the prices offered. I haven't played the third one, though.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Review

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen an entry in the Metroid Prime series - 18 years, in fact. It was 8 years ago that Metroid Prime 4 was originally announced and its development was more than a little turbulent. Initially developed by Bandai Namco, it was later scrapped completely and development was shifted back to Retro Studios to start the project over. In the end, Retro has delivered a solid new entry in the series, but one that doesn’t totally capture what originally made the series so compelling.
