Epic to Announce New Game at the VGAs

Spike's Video Game Awards show is lining up the announcements, including new details about Metal Gear Solid Rising, BioWare's next game and Alan Wake. Well, here's another one. Cliff Bleszinski of Epic Games will announce a new game the company is working on at the award show as well.

Cliffy B says his team is working on something "entirely fresh and new" in this video below. It could be a new IP, meaning a move away from the Gears of War franchise. The Spike Video Game Awards airs this Saturday. Check out the video below for more.

Shaping up to be some good trailers at this thing, sprinkled amongst a terrible show I assume. A new IP from Epic would be welcome. Also looking forward to seeing the new PS3 game and Alan Wake game.

Still not gonna watch it.

It would be cool to have Epic work with People Can Fly again though. I thought Bulletstorm had tons of potential.

I wonder if this game has anything to do with the GDC tech demo titled "Samaritan". Epic tends to integrate elements from their Unreal Engine demos into actual projects. You can see the Brumak in their 2004 demo, for example.
