Xbox 360 Fall Update Delayed

Set to release today, the new Dashboard is now TBD.

Major Nelson sent a tweet earlier this morning at 7 AM in regards to the new Xbox Dashboard update that was scheduled to be released. The tweet goes as follows: "FYI: The timing for Xbox 360 dashboard update has been slightly delayed. I’ll have a status update later today."

The delay has not been defined. It could be in a few hours or tonight or even longer. As details filter in, we'll update this post with the latest news.

UPDATE: Another tweet from Major Nelson: "We are still working to get the release out. Stay tuned, we’ll have an update this afternoon (PT) on when it will begin rolling out." It appears the earliest we'll have the update will be this afternoon.

LATEST UPDATE: Latest tweet from Major Nelson: "Sorry for the dash launch delay. Good news: first set of [Xbox Live members] will be getting the Xbox LIVE update within the next few hours." It appears a slow rollout of the dashboard is being implimented. Did you get it yet?

UPDATE (5:46 pm): Major Nelson tweeted: We are a go! The Xbox Update is currently on its way to all 35 million Xbox LIVE members around the world. We apologize for today’s delay and hope that you will be thrilled with your new Xbox experience.
