Uncharted Has Shipped Over 13 Million Units

Uncharted 3 has had impressive sales numbers since its release and we now have some details about the numbers the series has sold as a whole. The Uncharted franchise, since its start in 2007, has shipped over 13 million copies worldwide. This makes the series one of the most popular new IPs of the console generation.

These numbers will reassuringly rise when Uncharted: Golden Abyss is released for the new PlayStation Vita early 2012. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune was released in November of 2007, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves followed in 2009, and Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception was released on November 1, 2011. The series has also garnered universal acclaim among video game journalists.
