Promotional Guitar Hero: Van Halen Copies Shipping Out

For anyone who took part in Activision's offer with Guitar Hero 5 where you could get Guitar Hero: Van Halen for free, get psyched.

Guitar Hero: Van Halen is now out in the wild according to ScoreHero.com member ubermeister30, who conveniently lives next to a shipping warehouse.

The game isn't due out in stores until late December, but it was offered for free with a purchase of Guitar Hero 5. Those free copies have started to ship.

Van Halen features 47 songs, including 25 from the titular band, 19 from guest artists, and three guitar solos. Sadly, it doesn't look like you can export the set list into Guitar Hero 5.

Other than that, it appears to be a simple re-skinned version of the early 2009 release Guitar Hero: Metallica.
