Sony's Vita 3G Plan Tweaked for AT&T's Data Prices

Sony adjusts their 3G plan to better align with their provider.

AT&T is changing up its data pricing for 3G customers. The wireless provider announced earlier this month that they were doing away with their previous plans:  200MB for $15/month or 2 GB for $25/month. The new plans cost more, but also provide more data: 300MB for $20/month or 3GB for $30/month.

A couple weeks prior to this Sony announced their data service prices (which will be provided by AT&T in North America). The price points fell in line with AT&T’s old data pricing structure: 250MB for $15/month or 2GB for $25/month. Now, however, Sony has altered their prices to better fit within AT&T’s new pricing structure: 250MB for $15/month or 3GB for $30/month.

Both plans remain a no-contract situation, and customers can opt in or out whenever.
