QuakeCon 2012 Dates Announced
The yearly convention returns this summer.
QuakeCon's dates have been revealed for this year. It will be open to the public and attendance is FREE! We all like free stuff, right? The convention will take place between August 2-5 at the Hilton Anatole hotel in Dallas, Texas.
The convention will host a BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) LAN party with thousands of gamers hooking up to a world class network to game with each other. The convention is being held by id Software and Bethesda Softworks and gamers will be able to play upcoming titles by those developers.
Contests, panels, announcements, and parties will also be held at the convention. Other exhibitors such as Alienware, Intel and nVIDIA are expected to make an appearance. Check out the press release for some more details.
