Persona 4 Arena Coming This Summer
The Persona series is getting a fighting game spin-off.
Atlus sent out a press release today revealing the existence of a fighting game based on the Persona series. Titled Persona 4 Arena, the game is set to be released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this summer.
Arc System Works is working with Atlus to develop the 2D anime-style fighter. The game will feature characters from Persona 3 and 4 and a fighting engine similar to Arc System Works' previously titles, BlazBlue and Guilty Gear.

Developed in partnership with genre master Arc System Works, Persona 4 Arena uses gorgeous, hand-drawn, high definition 2D anime-style fighters and colorful, over-the-top special effects to bring to life characters from the acclaimed, highly popular Persona 3 and Persona 4.
