Medal of Honor: Warfighter Stacking Up This October

The sequel to the 2010 reboot was previously teased.

The next Medal of Honor game is on its way. According to the latest issue of the Official Xbox Magazine, the game will be titled Medal of Honor: Warfighter. The sequel to the 2010 reboot is again being developed by Danger Close studios, this time working on both single player and multiplayer, and it follows the story of Tier 1 Operators.

The game will use the Frostbite 2.0 engine, which is the same engine that was used for Battlefield 3. Publisher EA will have more details about the new title at the Game Developer's Conference or GDC in San Francisco next month. The game has a projected release date of October 2012.
