Nintendo of America Not Expecting to Sell Through Wii Stock

Though Reggie would love to see it, retailers should be able to meet demand.

In a recent interview with CNBC, Nintendo of America President, Reggie Fils-Aime declared that retailers should have ample stock of Wii for the holiday season.

All holidays since the system's release have seen total sell through of stock, leaving many perspective buyers product-less come Christmas morning. This year, Reggie claims that Nintendo has "a tremendous amount of product in inventory ... [they've] been flowing product into retail."

Of course, Reggie interjected that "[he'd] love to have that happen, but [they're] not seeing that happen this year."
