Amazon Prime Instant Video Infiltrates the PS3

Prime members can now stream their content on Sony's console.

Amazon has announced that, as of this very moment, they have launched Prime Instant Video on the Sony PlayStation 3.

Launched over a year ago, Amazon Prime is a premium service offered by the online shopping center that provides members with free or reduced shipping as well as access to over 17,000 instant streaming titles.  With this new feature on the PlayStation 3, current members can now stream their movies via their game console.

For those who are unable to find anything of interest among the available streaming titles, you can also use the service to rent or purchase a film from a library of over 120,000 movies and television programs.

For instructions on how to activate or create a new account, check out Amazon.com.

Amazon Instant Video is also available on Kindle Fire, Roku and compatible TVs, Blu-ray players and cable boxes.
