Minecraft: Xbox 360 Version Sells One Million

People can't get enough of mining and building.

Minecraft for the Xbox 360 is already wildly successful - the port has managed to be profitable in just one hour. Since then, the XBLA title has now sold more than one million copies in five days, breaking the record recently set by Trials Evolution.

Some further statistics were given for the game as well. At 1600 MSP or $20, the title has already made $20 million in sales. More than 5.2 million hours have been spent mining, 4 million total multiplayer sessions have been logged, and more than 2.4 million multiplayer hours have been recorded. A patch adding Kinect support is expected to be released at a later date.
