PixlBit Changelog - February 25, 2013

New features incoming!

Howdy PixlBit friends! As you know, the site is in need of a few upgrades to improve its usability. As such, I've been working hard to roll these features out as quickly as possible. Today's changelog isn't too hefty, but I think it's a good starting point for some of the bigger stuff coming down the line.

Both comments and blogs can now be removed. Next to any comment you post, you'll find a link to remove it and on any blog you post, you'll be given a similar option. Furthermore, I've made the comment editing functionality more obvious and accessible via a link. The double click edit functionality continues to exist, so fear not if you enjoy editing in that fashion.

Finally, I enabled emoticons in comments, because well, they're nice and should've probably been there already Cool.

In any event, I hope you enjoy these upgrades and please do let me know if you run into any problems. Tomorrow, I'm cooking up something a bit more significant (I hope), so stay tuned for more upgrades to PixlBit!

P.S. - If the "Edit" function isn't working for you, click this link and refresh the page.

Why are you guys writing out that you're happy when you could just be all Laughing?

(If this comes across as rude, I can just delete it!)

thanks for adding these features.  They're making me all Laughing instead of Yell when I can't delete a blog.

You guys are great.  Tongue Out

Hm. Your link seems to redirect to a html page. Here is the url:

http://www.pixlbit.com/ui/js/jeip.js

Is there a way to delete comments on your blog? Someone accidentally double posted on mine.

Should be a link to a javascript file. Your browser has likely cached it already, so if you click the link and refresh, it'll allow the "Edit" link to work.

As for deleting others' comments, that's something you can't do, even on your own blog. Not sure how I feel about that as a feature, but if you report it, a moderator can do it for you.

Oh, that's alright by me. Whatever you think is best. I'm not picky at all.

Is a personal Message system going to be implimented at all? I'd love to get in contact with you regarding specific design assests in private, but no dice. What say you?

Second this one.

A PM system is something we're talking about, but in the mean time you can contact anyone on the staff using our contact page.  You'll see a dropdown with each of the staff members listed as well as general contact groups for tips, etc...
