Sony finally announces a release date for the sixth entry into the Jak and Daxter series.

Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier is the upcoming title in Naughty Dog's Jak and Daxter series. Today Sony officially announced the release date for the sixth entry would be November 3 of this year for the PSP and PS2.

The story for Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier takes place after the events of Jak and Daxter 3. The duo investigates where the world's supply of eco has mysteriously gone and this conundrum takes them to the ends of the world looking for answers.

With an already vague storyline, not much else is known about Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier, and few have actually gotten their hands around the game. The few hands-on sessions the game has seen with different publications seems to be getting mixed reviews. IGN stated that they were "excited for Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier," yet Jostiq states, "We can see why Sony would stay so secretive: it's not very good."
