Borderlands Goes Gold

Gearbox Software's Mad Max-inspired title is finally complete.

According to Gearbox Software, their upcoming "RPS", Borderlands has gone gold. The title, inspired by the movie Mad Max, blends both RPG and First Person Shooter genres.

Players will be able to assume the role of either Brick, Lilith, Mordecai, or Roland in the game's 160 quests. 30 of the game's quests are considered part of the story while the other 130 are side quests. The quests vary in length and complexity and many can be completed alongside other quests.

The game has been rated M for Mature by the ESRB and is slated to release October 20.
