Resistance 3 Possible

A photo from a movie set gives hints to the next game in the Resistance series.

Release of Resistance 3 might be in the near future according to Destructoid. The site posted this photo, taken on the set of the upcoming film Battle: Los Angeles, which clearly shows a Resistance 3 billboard.

Not only does this photo give insight that the game is likely to be released, it also gives hint to a plot line and a time frame. The I and a A show silhouettes of the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty, making it pretty obvious that this game takes place in New York City. Also, the film is set to release February 2011, hinting that the game will be announced or released around that time.

Battle: Los Angeles is being released by Colombia Pictures, a Sony subsidiary.
