Kingdom Hearts PLUS a Board Game and it's called Birth By Sleep? Oh the irony.
New Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Mode Revealed
Famitsu scans show a new mode and a new character who seems quite familiar.
The latest issue of Famitsu Weekly has revealed that a new mode and character will be included in the upcoming PSP title, Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep.
A board game mode will be included and will be known as Command Mode. Within this mode players will roll virtual dice to earn Board Points which will allow them to walk along a board. On there players can land on event spaces that trigger things like chance cards and support characters. Board Points can also be stolen by yourself or by your opponents which will assist players in some way.
The mode will reward players in the normal gameplay by providing power-ups that will beef up Command attacks. Currently it's unknown if the mini-game will be mandatory.
Famitsu also revealed a new character, Master Eraqus who looks quite similar to real life person, Final Fantasy creator, Sakaguchi-san.
Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep has a tentative January 2010 release date in Japan with a tentative 2010 worldwide.
